Inclusive Youth Leadership
Empowering Students to Lead Inclusion
Inclusive Youth Leadership creates opportunities for students with and without intellectual disabilities to work together as leaders and advocates for inclusion within their school community.
Through leadership experiences, students learn how to identify challenges, build relationships, and create meaningful change. Whether they are planning school activities, leading awareness campaigns, serving on a Youth Activation Committee, or representing their school at conferences and events, students gain valuable leadership skills while helping create a culture where everyone belongs.
Inclusive Youth Leadership ensures that student voices are at the center of the Unified Champion Schools experience. By working together, students become leaders who model respect, acceptance, and inclusion for their peers.
