Nonspeaking/Nonverbal Awareness Day

Nonverbal and Nonspeaking Awareness Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many ways people communicate beyond spoken words. Through interactive activities, educational resources, and student engagement opportunities, schools can build greater understanding, foster empathy, and highlight the strengths, talents, and voices of individuals who communicate in different ways. This day encourages students to recognize that communication comes in many forms and that every voice deserves to be heard and valued.
